    Was looking to step up my game on slowing my hair loss and had been pointed in the direction of adding red light to my routine. After a bunch of research and reading reviews I settled on this one. It has not disappointed and works via a USB and battery back up when I travel. Great product and would highly recommend.

    Once I got used to all the different settings available I typically start it on 5. Once it warms up I change it to a pulsating setting again on 5 and the heat drops off considerably. I do use it with a growth spray that I purchased separately along with my own homemade spray that I concocted with water-soluble CBD, along with a variety of essential oils. I really like the hard cap the hat came with, it fits well and is part of the hat. The previous one I owned came with a flexible flat sheet that one had to fit into a cap and was difficult to keep aligned in the cap. I use it plugged in upstairs and with a small battery pack downstairs and was surprised at how long the battery lasts, way longer than my previous one. Happy the other one failed and I found this one at a decent price that works so well.

    Update: below is my previous review to which this seller promptly responded and offered to replace the controller (which I suspect developed an internal fault) and the seller pledged to continue supporting the product of that fix does not do the trick. You can't ask for better product support!Initial review: about a week after the support expired, the thing began turning itself off. it would not restart until I unplugged it from the charger and plugged it back in. It was fine, but then the next time I used it, the fault occurred about 4 times during that session. I was able to complete but only after several restarts. I was away for a week and did not take it with me. When I returned last week, that behavior continued occuring. Today, it simply quit midcycle and nothing I have done plugging or unplugging and re-plugging has made any difference. If the seller reads this and does anything for me, I will update my review. Otherwise I recommend you AVOID this product and choose another or you could be unlucky too.

    I liked the device although it was a little too big for my head. Also the controller was not bright enough to read easily in daylight. The device quit working after about 7 months of daily use. The company quickly offered me a replacement cap or full refund
